Featured In

At Northside Design Collective, we create timeless and deeply personal environments that foster both togetherness and individual well-being.

As a team of Asheville interior designers and project managers, we guide homeowners through every phase of the new home construction and home renovation design process, from the first floor plan to the final furniture installation.

For over 15 years, our work has been trusted by both clients and trade partners across the Carolinas.

Rooted in community, we prioritize local craftsmanship and sourcing custom furniture and materials that funnel resources back into the hands of regional artisans and makers.

Before + After

Our before-and-after portfolio showcases how thoughtful design and expert project management can completely redefine how a home looks, feels, and functions.

See the Transformation

“Our project was a remodel of a home from the 1920s that lent to many adjustments on the fly. We ended up with a home that we are exceptionally proud of and our use of Northside Design Collective can be directly responsible for the end result.”

“Our experience with Northside Design Collective was nothing short of first class. We live 6 to 7 hours away from the project which made it almost impossible for us to have done this project without some help. Northside conveniently made the distance a non-factor by handling most of the issues that needed a local touch. I would not hesitate to use their team again. We highly recommend Northside Design Collective.”

Award-winning interior designers in Asheville, NC, formerly known as Allard + Roberts Interior Design

We believe a home should feel connected to nature, to its surroundings, and to the people who fill it. Every project we take on celebrates the art and environment of this remarkable region, drawing inspiration from Asheville’s mountains, textures, and spirit.

We treat the views just outside our clients’ windows as the artwork, enhancing the natural beauty with organic color palettes, natural materials, and sustainably sourced furniture, often crafted by local artisans and makers we know personally. It’s our way of honoring this place we call home, while creating spaces that reflect yours.

And because design should feel as joyful as the life you’ll live in it, we make the process collaborative, transparent, and fun along the way.
