How many projects do you work on at a time?
One of the things that sets us apart is that we’re selective with the number of projects we take on at once. This gives us the time and space to ensure every project receives the highest level of customer service, creative attention, and brain power that it takes to bring a dream home to life even better than imagined. Each of our interior designers has no more than 5 or 6 projects on their plate at any given time.
What investment can I expect to make?
Every home is unique, and so is the investment required to bring it to life. Your total investment depends on the size and scope of your project, the level of customization, and the quality of furnishings and materials selected.

What is the cost breakdown for custom furniture and decor?
Our clients pay hourly rates for design time, which includes space planning, furniture layouts, photo pages of all selections, and a detailed line-item budget for furniture and decor.
As a Northside Design Collective client, you will receive discounted pricing on the custom furniture, art, and decor selected — much of which is only available to the trade. This can be sourced through our exclusive client showroom, so you don’t need to travel to High Point or Atlanta to make these selections. Instead, our showroom is connected to our studio space right here in Asheville.
How often do I need to come to town for meetings?
We work with many clients who live out of town or split time between homes, so many projects can be managed virtually, in between a few pre-planned client visits.
If you currently live out of town and want to visit us in person, we’re able to schedule both your meeting and visit to our Asheville showroom in one, so you can see and feel finish and furniture selections firsthand.
Beyond that, if you’re unable to make site visits due to travel, work, or simply living out-of-state, we often make decisions on our clients’ behalf and regularly visit job sites to coordinate construction and ensure everything is coming to life the way you envisioned.
